Kyiv School of Economics and ICU Investment Group invite you to a series of events with James Robinson!
The joint mission of KSE and ICU is to integrate the best global economic ideas into the Ukrainian discussion. 

Professor Robinson's visit is a part of the #IntellectMeet initiative, which brings together global thought leaders and promotes critical thinking in Ukraine.

As part of the visit, the professor will give an Open Nobel Lecture “Why Nations Decline. The origin of power, wealth and poverty” + Q&A session

We are announcing a contest for the participants of the event!
The three most interesting questions will be discussed at the lecture, and their authors will receive a book signed by the scientist.

Speaker:

James Robinson is one of the most influential economists and political scientists of our time. He is the co-author of the world bestsellers Why Nations Decline and The Narrow Corridor, and the winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2024. Professor Robinson's research focuses on the wealth and success of countries, the role of economic institutions, knowledge and leadership in the development of states.
