Open lecture "Privatization in Ukraine"

"Privatization of state-owned enterprises was one of the key strategies for the transition from state socialism. Thirty years later, we are still trying to understand its implications.
In this lecture, Professor Scott Gelbach will explain the process of privatization in Ukraine and other post-communist countries, and discuss its results.
Scott Gelbach is a professor at the Department of Political Science at the School of Public Policy named after Harris, University of Chicago, researcher of authoritarian and post-authoritarian regimes.
The lecture is organized by students of the field of study ""Applied Mathematics"" and takes place within the framework of the KSE Economy Recovery Competition."
