MICRO- AND NANOELECTRONICS

About the program

This is an innovative program created in partnership with ETH Zürich - one of the best technical institutes in the world.
The purpose of this program is to educate a significant number of engineers and designers in the field of nanoelectronics in Ukraine. Cooperation with ETH Zürich, one of the leading institutes of technology, provides KSE's Ukrainian students and teachers with advanced knowledge and methodologies in the field of electrical engineering.

Thanks to the powerful community of graduates, our students have the opportunity to undergo internships and continue their career growth in Ukrainian and international companies and corporations.

The program promotes empowerment and an inclusive way of learning.
Students enjoy diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to learning that enhance their learning experience and enable them to be better for their future professional success.
This initiative is especially timely due to the ongoing war, which leads to large-scale destruction of the energy, telecommunications and agrotechnical sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
    Graduates of this program will:
Very in demand by industry, leading the restoration of Ukraine during and after the war.
To be in demand in innovative companies.

WHAT POSITIONS YOU CAN HAVE:

● Integrated Circuit Designer (IC Design Engineer): You will be able to work as an integrated circuit design engineer, creating and optimizing chips for various applications such as mobile devices, computers, automobiles, medical devices and others.
● IC Verification Engineer: Work in the field of integrated circuit verification involves testing and verifying the correct operation of chips before their mass production.
● Analog/Digital Design Engineer: Tasks in this field include designing analog and digital blocks such as amplifiers, clock generators, and others.
● RF System Designer (RFIC Design Engineer): If you are interested in radio frequency electronics, you will be able to develop radio frequency integrated circuits for wireless communications, radio communications and other applications.
● Project Manager: You can move into the field of project management in the microelectronics industry, where your expertise in chip design and development will be valuable for successful project completion.

In case of successful passing and passing of exams, you will have the opportunity to go forCAS internship in Zurich (Certificate of Advanced Study).
Where will it be possible to work and conduct experiments in a modern laboratory with the latest equipment

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION

Training on the program takes place in English.
The recommended level of English is B2 (B1). During their studies, students learn English so that they can bring their level to the required level to master the program.

FORMAT OF STUDYING

The program provides a mixed learning format and combines KSE campus classes and distance learning. Classes online take place in the evening every week from 18:30 to 21:30, 3 days a week. Classes on campus take place on schedule on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays every week in the daytime.
Our building has comfortable classrooms in shelters and generators, so regardless of the circumstances, students freely continue to study.
