Study in English
Starting from the 2nd year, all courses are taught in English. This allows students to regularly participate in international conferences and communicate freely with foreign lecturers. We are confident that the English-speaking environment strengthens practical language skills, but also provides a key to the international scientific community and sources of information.
Exchange programs
KSE students participate in exchange programs every semester and visit the world's best universities, such as Bocconi University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. KSE is also a co-founder of the Ukrainian Global University, which helps students establish contact with leading educational institutions in Europe and the United States and participate in international conferences.
Internships in top companies
A quality internship is an integral part of the educational process. After the 2nd year of study, students participate in internships at top companies and public sector institutions such as Genesis, Dragon Capital, Raiffeisen, PUMB, the National Bank of Ukraine, the World Bank, and others. Mentors help students acquire valuable practical skills that will allow them to confidently enter the job market with the recommendations of recognized companies and professionals.

аDOUBLE DEGREE WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON
In the second year of study, students of this program can enter the University of Houston and receive two diplomas upon graduation: Kyiv School of Economics and the University of Houston. The training will take place in Kyiv.

To study at the University of Houston Dual Degree Program, students must have one of the English language proficiency certificates.

FAQ
How to apply to KSE?
In 2023, Admission was based on the results of the NMT 2022 and 2023 or the ZNO 2020 and 2021. Students registered an electronic applicant's account and then applied for admission to the desired program between July 19 and July 31 at 18:00. After that, they had to submit their documents to KSE (electronically).
Which documents do I need to submit for admission?
Passport, Taxpayer identification number (IPN), certificate of complete secondary education and its supplement, application for admission (to be filled out in the admission office), and military registration document (for men).
Studying in English - do I need a certificate?
We do not require certificates to study with us. During the first year, you will have professional English classes so that you can bring your knowledge up to the required level and feel comfortable studying in English.
How to get a grant for study?
As in any other university, you need to pass the NMT as well as possible
Does KSE have a dormitory?
We have something even better - coliving. These are multi-room flats located near the KSE building or in the center of Kyiv. Students live separately, 2–3 people in a room, have a room for common activities, a kitchen, several bathrooms, and the necessary equipment. Coliving is paid separately from tuition, the price is $100 per month at the NBU rate.
Can I transfer from another university?
It depends on how different our educational program is from the program of the university where you studied before. You will need to provide us with transcripts of the courses you have already studied at your university so that we can calculate the academic difference and tell you how realistic it is to close it.
What is the entrance score to study at KSE?
The threshold score in maths is 140. For a state-funded program, the score in the Ukrainian language should be 130, and for a contract - 100. For the budget, the total competitive score must be more than 130.
Are KSE bachelor's programs accredited?
Since our undergraduate programs were launched only in 2021, we will receive accreditation before graduation (4th year). Accreditation in the first years of the program is not advisable, as it requires senior students and checks processes that have not yet taken place in the first years. However, our master's programs, Economic Analysis, Business and Finance Economics, and Public Policy and Governance, are accredited, and we are now building our bachelor's programs in such a way that we are confident that we will be accredited. We have access to Coursera courses from the very beginning of our studies, and students in our economics programs can receive a double degree from the University of Houston.
