"Foreign aid covers a wide range of material and non-material aid provided by one country to another. Indeed, the standard explanation for the role of foreign aid is to provide weak countries with capital to lift them out of poverty. Is this account correct?
During the lecture ""Foreign Aid to Countries"" we will look at different theories of foreign aid and evaluate the evidence of how it works and what its real goals are.
The lecture will be delivered by Violetta Dzyuda - associate professor and deputy dean of the Faculty of Research at the School of Public Policy named after Harris, University of Chicago. Researches applied game theory, political economy and economic information.
