Laboratory for Memory and Public History Research

An initiative by graduates of the Master's program "Memory Studies and Public History" at KSE

Goal:

    To promote the emergence of new research in the field and unite specialists around a constructive discussion, strengthening the existing professional community in Ukraine.

Areas of Activity:

    Research of the memorialization and commemorative practices that have formed in Ukrainian society in response to the Russian war against Ukraine.

    Analysis of how history is mediatized, as well as instrumentalized by various actors for the purpose of public influence.

The Laboratory's activities include the preparation of public history materials and the hosting of discussions to unite the professional community.
