About event:
Kyiv School of Economics, Konotop City Council, and NGO Vision Zero invite you to a joint event dedicated to strategic projects for sustainable and climate-friendly post-war recovery of Konotop, Sumy region.
The event will feature a presentation of two strategic projects of the city:● The concept of the reconstruction of Konotop's Railway Station Square is a project developed on the principles of sustainability, climate resilience, and accessibility and in accordance with the latest European approaches;● Strategy for the Modernization and Development of the Konotop Tram System - a vision for the sustainable development of the unique Konotop tram system, which was historically created as a post-war reconstruction project in the 1950s.
The event will be attended by the mayor of Konotop, Artem Semenikhin, director of the Konotop Transport Department, Viktor Tymoshenko, other city representatives, and experts from the NGO Vision Zero. The program includes two presentations, a thematic discussion, and an exhibition of posters with visualizations of future projects.
Invite: specialists in projects, programs, and initiatives around the topic of sustainable and balanced recovery, representatives of public authorities, architects, urbanists, students, researchers, and anyone interested in the sustainable development of Ukrainian cities.
