About event:
We are pleased to invite you to the fifth meeting of the Student Mathematical Seminar. This time we will talk about connections between different areas of mathematics: orders, algebras, logic, and topology.
We will focus on Boolean algebras. We will look at them from different perspectives, including logical and topological, and we will get acquainted with the classical Stone theorem, Lindenbaum algebra, and Stone spaces.
This is a great opportunity to look a little deeper into the structures that unite different mathematical worlds, whether you have already heard something about these concepts or are just starting to get acquainted with them.
Speaker:
Dmytro Kulia - 2nd year student majoring in Applied Mathematics at KSE.
