Open lecture "PSYCHOLOGICAL CHALLENGES OF WAR" and presentation of the book "WHAT IS WAR?"

"War is certainly an overwhelming stressor that affects us all and takes its toll on physical and mental health. Our survival depends on being able to adapt to the difficult conditions that the scourge of war brings.On June 16, we invite you to the Kyiv School of Economics, where we will talk about the psychological challenges of war with psychologist and Gestalt therapist Ilya Poludyonny, who will give an open lecture and present a new book written in co-authorship with Mark Livin ""What is war like?"".
During the meeting, we will discuss the following topics:• the psychological challenges of full-scale war facing the civilian population and the professional psychological community• what topics and questions psychologists have to work with at the moment and what topics and questions await us in the future• the current phase of psychological adaptation to a full-scale war and what you need to know about these psychological processes• how and where the culture of mental health should develop in Ukraine, taking into account the current context of full-scale war and the experience of past major military conflicts and their consequencesThere will also be a Q&A section so you can get answers to your questions."
