KSE invites you to a unique three-day workshop on the national security strategy of Ukraine.
During three intense days, you will: ● learn how a national security strategy is formed;● work as representatives of various government agencies;● develop your own coordinated national security strategy for Ukraine;● present the results to a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC);
receive a certificate of participation.
The workshop is based on the materials of the US National War College and the current National Security Strategy of Ukraine (2020).
The program involves working both individually and in teams, with immersion in key concepts:
ends, means, and ways;
elements of state power (DIME: diplomacy, information, military, economy);
national interests and political priorities.
This workshop is the first event with a focus on national security in the history of KSE!
Speaker:
Kevin Ryan - a visiting professor at KSE, a retired U.S. Army Brigadier General and expert on security and strategic planning.
