Sergey Shevchenko
Professor of Theoretical Physics
Sergiy Shevchenko works in the field of quantum physics of mesoscopic systems, including superconducting qubits, quantum dots, and nanomechanical resonators. He studies their dynamical behavior and develops theoretical models to explain modern experiments.
Prof. Shevchenko actively works with theoretical physics students and early-career researchers, involving them in current research in quantum physics. He has been a visiting scientist at RIKEN (Japan), IPHT (Germany), and CNRS (France). He heads the Department of Superconducting and Mesoscopic Structures at B. Verkin ILTPE of NASU.
Doctor of Sciences (2013), Professor of Physics (2024).
