Stephen Anco

Simons Professor in Mathematics

Stephen Anco works in nonlinear differential equations, symmetry analysis, integrability and solitons, and mathematical physics.
Stephen pursued graduate studies in applied mathematics at Princeton University and received his PhD from the University of Chicago in 1990. He has been a professor at Brock University in Canada since 2007. Throughout his career, Stephen has supervised more than 10 PhD students and over 20 master’s students, chaired the Department of Mathematics at Brock, and directed its graduate program. Stephen will be joining KSE in the fall of 2026.
