Second Lecture of the LektorChef Series with Ihor Miroshnychenko: “Stop ‘Playing with Fonts’! Quarto: Presentations, Websites, and Reports That Format Themselves”
How much time do you spend aligning images in Word or transferring charts from Excel to PowerPoint? And every time the data changes, you have to redo everything. This scenario is all too familiar for instructors preparing course materials and for students working on reports, lab assignments, or theses.
The second speaker in the LektorChef series is Ihor Miroshnychenko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, and lecturer at the Kyiv School of Economics.
During the session, he will demonstrate how Quarto allows you to move away from manual formatting and work with text, code (Python/R), and visualizations in a single environment. We will also explore how to generate presentations, course pages, and properly formatted reports from a single data source in just a few clicks — without copying, broken layouts, or loss of reproducibility.
