KSE Mathematics Seminar: Graphs, grids, and complex manifolds with algebraic torus action

Jarosław A. Wiśniewski adds new structures to regular graphs, translations, systems of compasses, and grids, аnd shows how they connect to algebraic torus actions on projective complex manifolds with finitely many fixed points and one-dimensional orbits. A colloquium-style talk on joint work with Maria Donten-Bury, open to a general mathematical audience.
