Piraeus Bank інвестує 200 000 грн у меморіальні стипендії KSE для збереження пам’яті Захисників через освіту

Piraeus Bank приєднався до благодійної спільноти KSE Foundation та спрямував 200 000 грн на підтримку меморіальних стипендій у Київській школі економіки. 

Для KSE Foundation ця підтримка є важливим кроком довіри та спільного розуміння ролі освіти в час війни. Меморіальні стипендії поєднують фінансову підтримку студентів із збереженням пам’яті про членів спільноти KSE, які загинули, захищаючи Україну: бойову медикиню Ірину Цибух, розвідника Яра Батога та військового Руслана Чоп’юка.

У межах партнерства студенти KSE відвідали партнерів із різдвяним вертепом — як частину традиції, що вже другий рік поспіль допомагає залучати кошти на навчання майбутніх фахівців. Ця ініціатива підкреслює, що освіта в Україні сьогодні існує в контексті війни, втрат і відповідальності, а водночас — формує основу для відновлення країни.

«Для Банку участь у таких ініціативах — це не лише благодійність, а відповідальність перед суспільством. Ми допомагаємо формувати покоління лідерів, здатних відновлювати країну, розвивати економіку та будувати сильні інституції. Це наш внесок у майбутнє України, де знання та пам’ять про Героїв стають фундаментом стійкості», — зазначає Анна Журавльова, директорка департаменту персоналу Piraeus Bank.

Для KSE Foundation особливо цінно, що перша співпраця з Piraeus Bank розпочалася саме з підтримки меморіальних стипендій — ініціативи, яка говорить про складні, але необхідні речі: свобода має ціну, а освіта — відповідальність.

Piraeus Bank invests UAH 200,000 in KSE memorial scholarships to honor Ukraine’s Defenders through education

Piraeus Bank has joined the KSE Foundation’s charitable community, directing UAH 200,000 to support memorial scholarships at Kyiv School of Economics.

For KSE Foundation, this contribution represents an important gesture of trust and a shared understanding of the role of education during wartime. The memorial scholarships combine financial support for students with the preservation of the memory of KSE community members who died defending Ukraine: Combat Medic Iryna Tsybukh, Intelligence Officer Yar Batoh, and Service Member Ruslan Chopiuk.

As part of the partnership, KSE students visited Piraeus Bank with a Christmas nativity performance — a tradition that for the second year in a row helps raise funds for the education of future professionals. This initiative underscores that education in Ukraine today exists in the context of war, loss, and responsibility, while also laying the foundation for the country’s recovery.

“For the Bank, participating in such initiatives is not just charity, but a responsibility to society. We help shape a generation of leaders capable of rebuilding the country, developing the economy, and strengthening institutions. This is our contribution to Ukraine’s future, where knowledge and the memory of Heroes form the foundation of resilience,” notes Anna Zhuravlyova, Director of the Human Resources Department at Piraeus Bank.

For KSE Foundation, it is especially meaningful that its first collaboration with Piraeus Bank began with support for the memorial scholarships — an initiative that speaks to difficult but essential truths: freedom has a cost, and education carries responsibility.

Thanks to Piraeus Bank’s contribution, KSE Foundation will soon announce the new scholarship recipients for 2026.
